Love the photos! What percent of the trail had snow, and how challenging would it be to navigate in trail runners?

At least 75% of the day was on snow. We put on microspikes at Lake Lillian, and left them on all day and all the way back to the car. Im not a trail runner, but I'm sure glad i had micro-spikes and trekking poles with baskets; especially when traversing snow covered side slopes. But im 60+, and liking less and less to slip.

How was getting down the steep section down to Rampart lakes where you have about 300 feet down to the most western rampart lake?
Was snow covered there on the steep down trail? That’s my only concern as I’m deciding what kind of traction to bring for my daughter.
