Got to the trailhead at about 7am only 3 cars in the lot from overnight campers. Trail is in great shape, from previous reports WTA work crews had been out the weekend prior and we saw then our working again on the hike back. Very friendly taking the time to answer our new young & to hiking group members. Baring Mt was particularly covered by the mist when we arrived at the lake. Couldn’t find the backcountry toilet, out of all my trips to the lake I’m running a 50/50 chance of finding it lol the vegetation is lush & in full force at the lake and along the trail. Be aware at the old rock slide there are a few hogweed/cow parsnip plants growing! The sap is phototoxic & if it gets into the eye can cause blindness! I’ve include photos of the cow parsnip for reference
