My family did this hike in the late morning (before leaving for a road trip) to help our toddler "get the wiggles out" before being in the car. It was a great hike for that, though we needed to carry him up the hill on the way out. The falls itself was underwhelming (it was barely a trickle and the creek that the bridge goes over near the falls was dried up), but the hike was fun nonetheless. We munched on sour salmon berries along the way and ate a snack at the waterfall. Good times :)
