I had passed the sign for Jackson Creek Fish Camp many times en route from the Tri-Cities to Seattle, but hadn't stopped before. It is apparently popular for fishermen in the fall, although there is no boat ramp.
There wasn't a soul around when I was there, and I could see fish jumping. I don't think the developed campground and day use area have been there very long -- everything was nice and new. There are cooking grills but they were all wrapped up. The website says no charcoal fires are allowed in the summer due to fire danger.
