Trip Report

Beckler Peak, Alpine Baldy — Monday, Jun. 30, 2025

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West

We looked at a map of the Beckler Peak area and saw another trail nearby, the Alpine Baldy Trail. Since I've done Beckler in the past, we decided to see if we can connect the 2 trails together. https://youtu.be/gors3X87pmE

The beginning of the trail is pretty overgrown so if there was any rain, you'll get soaked. At least the steady incline kept us nice and warm! As you get higher, the trail opens up more and is a really defined trail.

At the top you spit out in a meadow which all the wildflowers are currently blooming. We saw tons of bear scat so we were really paying attention here in case this is where the bear was, but never saw one.

The trail ends abruptly and there's an old log/bench that is the start of a game trail downhill. We followed that a couple hundred feet until we found an old logging road (lots of downed trees). That then connected to the Beckler Peak Trail which we followed back to the parking lot.

Keep an eye out for grouse and their babies, we ran into quite a few of them!
