Hiked to Ridge Lake. The trail is almost snow free and the few areas of snow are easy and safe to cross.
A couple of blowdowns that have paths beaten around them, but not too difficult to get around and under or over.
Bugs got really bad at the lake especially when I stopped.
Many many beautiful wildflowers blooming along the trail.
I started at 9:00 am. And as most trails that start near I90 the first few miles are dominated by highway noise, but the trees and flowers offer a distraction.
Busy trail today (Monday). I saw at least 30 people, most of them backpackers.
