Our group of Mountaineers knocked out a 6ish mile hike along the Middle Fork Snoqualmie trail this morning! It was a very warm day, even starting at 8am. The trail is in good condition, but there were several patches of overgrown berries and other prickly things, as well as a broken section of bridge/puncheon (that is still pretty solid). That said, there were tons of berries, particularly salmon berries! I was surprised that we didn't really see anyone else on the first half of the hike, but we did see a about 20 people on the way out. The water level is the river is fairly low which was perfect a wade and a picnic following our hike! Cheers to a great summer hike!

I agree that the mountain in your 2nd photo looks like a Stegosaurus but I'm pretty sure it's Garfield.
