Cherry Creek Falls — Wednesday, Jul. 16, 2025

Absolutely beautiful hike. The pond is refreshing and full of life! Certainly bring something you can use to walk in the water with if you are tender-footed. The only downside was there were SO. MANY. HORSEFLIES. Maybe they were extra nasty when we went because it was so hot out? (highest was 90°). Also lots of other bugs flying around landing on us or being a nuisance in our ears. However, this was an extremely fun day and worth the bites imo!
***please note*** there are some desire-paths we noticed, as well as litter. please avoid those paths so we can avoid further erosion! And; pack it in, pack it out, people! This is not a state park and therefore it doesn't have rangers tending to it or picking up after visitors who leave clothing or trash!
