Cherry Creek Falls — Wednesday, Jul. 16, 2025

we got there around 10 AM on Wednesday with several cars parked along side of the road, but not crowded on the trail at all. by the time we got to the Falls, a family was just leaving and we had the whole place to ourselves for a little bit. By the time we started heading out, more groups were heading in. This was the hottest day of the week, so it felt great to get in the water. There is lots of shade on the trail so never felt overheated. 
are nasty if you sit still. I finally opened up one of the bracelets I brought to keep bugs away and shocked at how well it worked. All in all, a great, easy hike.
