Lots of reports on this super and relatively short hike, so I will just focus on what I think you want to know.
1. Arrived at the Tipsoo Lake parking lot at 9:30 am and the lot was half full with lots of roadside parking available. Sunny and 63 degrees.
2. Trail is all snow free and in good condition. A couple of very minor water drainage creeks to cross. This very popular trail wasn’t busy at the start of our hike, but volumes of hikers dramatically increased by the time we left the trail around noon time. And yes there are some wildflowers in bloom.
3. Bugs were annoying but seem to completely disappear once we applied bug spray.
4. Total hike was ~3.9 miles at an easy pace. When we left, parking lot was full and most of the roadside parking was being used too.
A good family hike with lots to see. Enjoy!
