The main parking was full at 8am but we found a spot in the secondary parking region. Back around 2:30pm, that secondary region had as many cars as the main one. There were still a few shots though.
Lots of ripe berries in the valley, plenty of blooming flowers, especially in the ascent from Hannegan pass.
It did not feel very busy on our way up and we only crossed a few hiking groups including crew people actively fixing the trail. On the way down after noon, the situation was different and we crossed many more people.
There are a few remnant snow patches near the top of Hannegan peak but the trail does not cross them. The bugs are present but do not follow you as long as you move. The summit had a breeze that protected us. The conditions were great!
