The Lake 22 hike is basically broken into three sections. The first section is shaded, not very steep, and is made of dirt and some small, mini creeks. The second section is made of multiple switchbacks on rocks which are about the size of a fist. The rocks were a slipping hazard while going downhill. The third section was again in the shade and wasn't steep.
The lake at the top was very pretty, but the trail going around the lake was not marked very well, so that is something to look out for. Nonetheless, the lake really made the hike worth it.
