We didn't actually hike the trail, but stopped to use the bathrooms at the trailhead, and the bathrooms are gone!
There was a piece of construction equipment and caution tape around where the bathrooms used to be. They seem to have been demolished.

George & Sally on Big Four Ice Caves
The restroom at the Big Four picnic area was burned down in an arson fire a few years ago. Someone poured gas on the building and light it on fire. It was a wooden building. The newer Forest Service and DNR restrooms are made out of cement concrete and cast to look like wood. George
