Tatie Peak and Grasshopper Pass — Friday, Jul. 25, 2025

Camped at Meadows Campground (Hart's Pass) to enjoy a few days of hiking in the alpine. Friday did the PCT south to Grasshopper Pass. Started off very cool (had been extremely windy and cold the night before) with beautiful cloud formations. Still many alpine flowers blooming -- always impressed at what these little plants need to do to thrive in a harsh alpine environment. Fun to see the larch trees all green (I've previously done this one in the Fall) and fun to chat up folks doing various sections of the PCT.  A very worthy hike!
