Gem Lake, Snow Lake — Friday, Aug. 1, 2025

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Gem Lake

Kicked off the 2025 Hike-a-Thon with a beautiful hike to Snow and Gem Lakes. The lakes were a beautiful blue and quite refreshing for a swim before heading down. I did notice the bugs a bit when stopping for lunch at Gem Lakes but they weren't bad. Saw a bunch of Pikas in the various rock fields along the hike and noticed a bunch of ripe berries after reaching Snow Lake.

This was my first time at Snow Lake since recent work to improve the trail. If you enjoy adventuring on the trails you see here and want to support WTA's efforts to build and maintain trails in Washington, consider supporting my Hike-a-Thon campaign: http://give.wta.org/AlisonGale2025
