Got to the trailhead around 9am and there were plenty of cars but still plenty of room. Make sure and go UP the hill to start the hike, not down, as there are two trailheads across from one another. LOTS of blueberry and huckleberry bushes, not yet ripe, but will be a feast soon! Most people we saw at the lake said they came from another trailhead, only about a mile each way. Lake was lovely, beautiful color, great hike when you want a payoff with not too much work. We camped at Lake Easton the night before so we could get there early.
