The parking lot have enough spaces for visitors. We started around 8:45 am at the Franklin Falls trail head. The trail up the falls go along Denny Creek then South Fork Snoqualmie River, which is well maintained and easy, including lumber encased steps. Since we have only 2 days of rain for the past 5 weeks, water in the falls is ok but not spectacular. We took the Wagon Road Trail back, which is quiet and have less foot traffic. In fact, many wooden bridge in the Wagon Road Trail have been replaced with new construction and wood planks, i.e. very nice. The trail crosses the paven Denny Creek Road twice. The fist road crossing mark is faint although it was not hard to see the reflective marker across the road. At the 2nd road crossing, we simply took the pave road back to the upper parking lot to end our hike. All in all, it is a nice and easy hike suitable for family.
By the way, do not rely on Google Maps to lead you to the parking lot as it does not like to provide direction on US Forest Service roads, which are needed.
