Talapus and Olallie Lakes — Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025

First time to this trail and lake. Got to the trail head around 7:30 am and there were already 30 cars lined onto the road. The trail was in good condition. Heavily traveled. We left the lake around 12pm as there were no less than 25 people standing around the lake near us. On the way down the trail we passed 145 adults not including children.
The trail and area are NW beautiful. The amount of people on the this trail was too many for trying to get away from people.
