Middle Fork Snoqualmie River — Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025

It's hot this weekend. The Middle Fork Snoqualmie is the perfect place to cool off and get some mountain vibes at the same time. So we packed up the cat, and that's exactly what we did.

Lots of other folks had the same idea. The river is big enough for all of us! Next time I'll have to bring a river table and chairs for a proper picnic. Plenty of families and kids were enjoying the water, but we opted for riverside drinks.

We hiked about 1.5 down the trail and back for 3 miles round-trip. Spotted a garter snake and a few rad frogs. Road and trail are in fine condition. The immediate small lot was 75% full.
