The abandoned Allens Bay trail from Ozette Lake to the Norwegian Memorial is very overgrown, has lots of trees down and the old wooden walk ways are broken/dangerous. My son and I attempted it and tried to clear the quarter mile.. we then decided to just push through but stopped at over a half mile in because it was so dense and we had already gone over 16 trees in the half mile. Definitely could be done but it required more effort than he wanted to put in. Finding the trail and staying on the path wasn't hard. it was clear someone had gone through recently based on tracks.
