This is an 16 mile round trip hike in Olympic National Park. You need a permit to camp at heart lake. The trail is in great shape with plenty of huckleberrys to snack on. Very beautiful area. I was volunteering to do marmot surveys by the lake and we saw an adult with a pup! #hikeathon
