Dahlia garden, by Steffunny

Dahlias blooming! I went for a stroll around Volunteer Park because I knew the dahlia section would be spectacular. It is fun to see the many varieties and colors. And the bees were loving them too.

I also climbed up to the top of the water tower, which I had never done before despite living in Seattle for many years. The views were a bit hazy today, but there is a lot of interesting information about the Olmsted brothers and their vision for creating the many beautiful parks in Seattle.
