Used Hansen Creek/Ridge trail to go up Little St Helens, which I hadn't been to before. Ticking off some of the last remaining mountains for me on the Harvey Manning Peak Challenge list. As others have said, Tinkham Road has some deeper potholes, but after you turn off and start going up, FS 5510 is in quite good condition. Regardless, it's possible to easily get there in a low-clearance sedan as long as you're careful at a few points.
About 4 other cars at the trailhead at 10am on a nice summer Saturday morning. I did this as a trail run - the trail is very gradual and it was runnable for me pretty much the whole way up. I needed GPS help to find the turnoff from Hansen Creek trail up to the Little St Helens final approach - would definitely have zoomed past it otherwise, as it isn't obvious at all. There are one or two places in the last mile where you have to push through a few bushes, but other than that the trail is in surprisingly good shape given that I don't think it gets a ton of use compared to the rest of the I-90 corridor. The true summit of Little St Helens itself is in the middle of a tree copse and not particularly interesting, but the last half mile up to the saddle is very pretty with views of the mountains across the highway and Rainier over the shoulder of the summit.
Round trip to the summit and back was about 6.5 miles with 1100 ft of gain, which took me 75 minutes at a moderate run pace. I'd planned to also do Scout Patrol Peak on the other side of the trailhead while I was here, but didn't get an early enough start and had to head home for other obligations.
Four peaks left for me on the HMPC list: Scout Patrol, Gardner, Pratt, and Green.
