Deer and Sand Lake — Saturday, Sep. 6, 2025

I had a great hike to Deer lake yesterday. The trail is in good condition. There are a few huckleberries to be found. It took me just under an hour to reach the lake with a full pack. It's a beautiful as always. I didn't see any animals except there were lots of little fish jumping. I fished for a few hours and managed to catch a couple nice ones that I released.
