I really love this hike - I do not understand why the Mt Si trail part was not more crowded and why parking at Mt Si was easy (?!) but it was not crowded today.
I’ve never seen the talus loop crowded and it’s such a beautiful trail with solitude while being very well maintained. It’s a little brushy in a few spots but not bad.
I like going up the Mt Si trail and then getting onto the talus loop at the upper end and going clockwise.
Beautiful bonus summer day!
A bit hazy but air quality was good on the trail.
