What a great trail! Well-built & maintained, easy grading, and mostly a comfy dirt/needle floor. For only 4 miles it drops you off in absolutely stunning scenery with great views of Mt. Adams. The weather was sunny but not hot on day one, and slightly drizzly on the way out. There were fields of delicious blueberries at the top :) Heard plenty of pikas, saw an American dipper hanging out in a creek, and saw the tiniest cutest frog in the swamp! We arrived around 11am on a Saturday and there were still a couple of spaces left in the parking lot, when we came back on Sunday there were cars leftover from the day before overflowing along the road. There were plenty of campsites available upon arrival and they were well-spread out from each other. Can't wait to come back here for a multi-night trip.
