I started on the trail down to Fullerton Pond and then the Holly Loop, Barnum, and Caroline's Trail down to the beach. I was glad to see that there was plenty of space to walk northeast along the shore with a 2.9 slack tide that made the water very still and quiet. The sandstone cliffs seem to always be shedding imbedded rocks and sections of the wall. The wind was from the southeast carrying a rotting odor, so I had to check it out. I found a very large fish-about four feet long but I couldn't identify it. There wasn't much as far as living wildlife-crows, seagulls, ducks and in the distance, a few herons.
I found the opening on the shore to the Beach Trail and completed the loop to the trailhead parking lot.
The trails are all in good condition. The porta-potty in the parking lot is open and well supplied.
