The Muir snowfield has many large crevasses and meltwater drainage channels throughout and later in the day the entire field was covered in meltwater runoff. Definitely recommend aggressive crampons as opposed to microspikes.
Fall colors are popping up around Paradise. No water at Paradise so be sure to plan accordingly.
