We wanted to add on a few miles after hiking the Franklin Falls/Wagon Road loop, and Denny Creek way the perfect way to spend more time in the woods without breaking a sweat. No haze or smoky air today, nice and clear.
At the falls/waterslide area, we encountered a couple who asked if we knew the way to Rockhound Gulch. We'd never heard of the place, and there doesn't seem to be much information about it online. We couldn't find any specific or reliable directions beyond "it's in a canyon off of Denny Creek." If anyone knows more about how to find it, I'm all ears!
