Blue Lake — Thursday, Sep. 25, 2025

Beautiful early fall hike to Blue Lake. The larch trees were just starting to turn. The lake was clear and we saw some lake trout swimming.

We arrived around 9:30 and the parking lot was nearly full. When we returned after a leisurely hike the parking lot was full and several cars were parked along the road

We took the short tarn loop trail that went to a small tarn near the lake.
