360 Trails — Sunday, Sep. 28, 2025

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

This is our second time hiking here, and I see I was also the last person to make a report.

Not much to add compared to my last report, but this weekend there were lots of ripe huckleberries along the trail. No obstructions on the trail, just lots of roots so watch your feet!

This trail has a vast network of options so you can choose however long or short you want your hike to be. Last time we went about 1.5 mile and this time we went 2.7 miles, and as I mentioned before the map is very good on Gaia gps for this local park. I don't always find that to be the case for these types of trails. I included my Garmin link as usual so you can see our path.

Beware of horse poop!

No trail pics this time so here is my son enjoying a fun little mushroom seat on one of the trails.

I am doing the 52 hike challenge with my kids this year and these are our current stats on week 39. We are officially 75% through the year:

Me: 50
David(5): 44
Holly(3): 39 (she went on a neighborhood walk last week to catch up)

This is starting to feel like a job and I'm not looking forward to poor weather in the last 13 weeks... but we'll get it done!
