Fall color is just starting. There were also some interesting mushrooms along the way. A little more horse poop than I'm used to seeing but I don't think horses use the trail frequently because the tread is in pretty good shape.
Gun noise from the Renton Fish and Game Club could be heard after 10 am so an early start is a quieter experience. Hours 10-6. Closed Mon and Tues.
