Clear weather and views before the rain started. Trail is in good condition. The section between Stiletto Lookout and the lake was less-defined, but easy enough to follow. We took the lower of the two routes and found it straightforward.
Water:
There was a small creek still flowing across the trail partway up the Stiletto Spur. Otherwise, there is water at Bridge Creek, Stiletto Lake, and Dagger Lake.
