East Lake Sammamish Trail, Marymoor Park — Sunday, Sep. 21, 2025

I met my friend in Southeast Redmond at the NE 65^th St trailhead to ride the East Lake Sammamish Trail!  The rain decided that we looked too dry and started dumping.  Thank goodness for warm clothes and raincoats!  The rain continued for most of the bike ride south to Lake Sammamish State Park and then gradually transitions to warm sunny beautiful weather.  What a chill beautiful ride!  We ate snacks at the Sunset Beach there and then rode back north again.  By the time we’d returned to the cars, we still had a bit of time, so did a 5mile loop along Bear Creek Pkwy and back through Marymoor park.  There were some RC airplanes flying!  So cool to watch.  Wonderful ride with my biking buddy : )  I love the PNW!!
