Trip Report

Mount Margaret — Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Snow on the talus slope before the cairn to head up to Mt M.

Bring your microspikes!

There is snow and ice as you get higher on this trail. The steep climb up to the beautiful Mt Margaret peak is steep and icy at times, and though do able  easier if you have poles and or microspikes so bring em.

We encountered only one other hiker on the way up, a few on the way down, so it’s got a lot of nice solitude. We were alone at the top of Mt Margaret for about 45 minutes to enjoy lunch and the beautiful day.

We love this hike for it’s good workout and lovely views at the top.
But be prepared for its challenges now. MJB
