Big Valley — Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025

Big Valley is a perfect rainy-day ramble in the valley. At 5.5 miles it got our blood going and the fabulous foliage entertained.

We did the full lollipop route which had a touch of
Brushiness when it looked back to itself. Otherwise the trail was all double track or wider and free of any obstacles.

We saw many birds and a few small mammals gathering and gorging in anticipation of winter. The surrounding hills make for a beautiful backdrop.
