Kukutali Preserve — Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025

Such a beautiful day! No wind and full sunshine at Kukutali Preserve. We hiked, played on the beach and enjoyed the sunshine. We hiked the north trail on the way out and walked the beach/played mountain goats on the rocks on the way back. Tide was on the way in which made it difficult but a fun challenge. Definitely tested my ability to duck, crawl, climb and balance on the rocks and drift wood. Kids had no problem and thought it was the BEST! Some really beautiful colors on the trees and a few flowers hanging on. We saw an eagle catch a fish when we first arrived. Probably some of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever been in, too.
