Looked outside to a near bluebird day and just had to get to Granite, my favorite on the I90 corridor. The trail was in good shape. The peak fall colors have certainly passed. Views were wonderful as ever. Just after passing the winter/summer route sign is when you run into snow. It becomes continuous on the trail and surrounding areas the farther up. I used microspikes, but others on trail did not have them on. I found them useful. It was slushy at times. The summer trail wasnt hard to find given previous hiker tracks. All in all, amazing day. Under 3.5 hours RT.
