After parking I eased my way over the boulders and crossed the bridge over Moose Creek. On my return to the trailhead I noticed an easier way to the left around the boulders. For a very short time the trail a long the creek and then goes through foliage that closes in on the trail un till the route opens up to the trail to more road like. In about a mile you cross over Furland Creek-you can see the creek to the right of the trail just before it disappears into a large culvert under the trail. At about 1.25 miles the Neiderprum Trail strikes off to the right but we stayed on the road and on to the mine.
The road widens and ends where the mine is to the right. Before going to the mine I took the short boot path down to Snow Gulch Creek with some nice graduated falls and peek-a-boo views of White Horse Mountain.
We, Sykes the dog, checked out the mine. The mines drains water out so it was a bit slippery with wet wood, rocks and leaves in shallow water.
There is still some vibrant autumn color-mostly yellow along the trail. Most of the leaves down with lots of big leaf maple leaves covering the trail. Over all the trail is in good condition. The bit of elevation gain going in is slight and gradual. As you get closer to the end of the trail has more rocks as though letting you know you are getting closer to the creek and the mine.
There is no toilet at the trailhead.

Nice photos as always! I especially like the colors of the rocks in the first one!
