There's a lot of nice fall color still on Tiger Mountain, particularly today on the Bus, Nook and Tiger Mountain trails lower down. The summits were in the clouds today, so it was a more workout, less view kind of day.
I caught a rain window and looped from the Bus Trail up Nook/Section Line to W Tiger 3, down the Cable Trail and back over on the Tiger Mountain Trail.
In spite of all this week's rain, the Section Line Trail is mud free. There is one substantial blowdown, but it's easily stepped around/over.
The Cable Trail's two primary mud pits are back, but the trail overall isn't slippery yet. There are several blowdowns lower down, but it looks like they've been up doing some pre-winter clearing on the upper portions of the trail.
