Asahel Curtis Nature Trail — Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Asahel Curtis Trail, snow dusted ferns.

This is a delightful 0.8 mile. winding loop. There are a dozen informative placards, that cover the usual aspects of a northwest nature trail; nurse logs, skunk cabbage, Douglas fir, snags, hemlock, etc. The main detractor is the highway noise.

The area is starting to be dusted with snow. The earth trail is snow-free, but the wood tread of the bridges can be a little icy.

Currently, there are two logs across the trail. Both are about 0.3 miles from the trailhead. One is on the north side of the loop (awkward to get over or under) and one is on the south side of the loop.
