Forest Trail — Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025

There's an old connector trail off of the corner of McLeod  and Maplewood that leads to Cherrywood. It's a nice little forested walk that crosses a creek on a bridge between two large ponds then ascends stairs to an old homesite. Here we found this new little loop trail. The homestead site itself is still under construction so it may actually be closed during work times. Definitely worth filing away for a good pet walk when finished. In addition, the connector trail continues to nearby residential streets that can be used to connect with the Laurelwood Trail to make an extended loop back to the original corner.
