Tried to go up to Jennifer Dunn trailhead, but I ran into a 2' diameter log across the road on one of the switchbacks. I ended up walking the road and one of the nearby abandoned trails up to the lookout site. The trail was really hard to follow.
There wasn't snow until about 4,200'. A lot of it was melted out by the rainstorms that blew through this weekend.

Wow that's a big log, thanks for the report! Which lookout site are you referring to if you don't mind?

I removed the tree yesterday to make the road passable. I then drove to within 2 miles of the trailhead and road was clear, but I can't say road status beyond that since I turned around due to high winds as the day progressed.
