My friend Neal is a very inspiring hiker, backpacker and volunteer in his 80s, He just finished hiking throughout six tough months of chemotherapy for his aggressive lymphoma. To celebrate the end of his chemo and his now being in remission, I created a 5min video(link below) with him showing part of the trail network he used during therapy, including his advice for others wanting to stay active during their cancer treatments.
Road & Parking: easy, plenty of space
Trail conditions: excellent, no issues
Fall foliage: big leaf maples at peak color right now
Crowds: maybe a dozen others seen total during the hike
