Langus Riverfront Park — Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

The skies were clear in what felt like WAY too long, we took the kids and pup-pup out for a little stroll along the Ebey Slough and Snohomish River!  We saw so many ducks and little birds!  I was expecting beauty, but more of the dry stick variety vs.  birds galore!  The kids found some Wolley Bear caterpillars and the dog got to say hi to a few other pups out on the path : )  The highlight of our walk was seeing two Harbor Seals in the Snohomish River!  They seemed super curious of us and kept swimming back and forth looking at us and the dog.  Beautiful day and good times with the whole family!  We parked under I-5 where there was room for maybe 8 cars and walked the 2.3mile loop clockwise.  Paved all the way, no bathroom, kid and pup friendly!

Thanks for the timely report! I was looking for a hike for my daughter, her friend, and our newly adopted dog near Everett. Perfect.
