Sultan River Canyon Trail — Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West
View from the bridge over the dam

We arrived at the TH around 8:30.  Even though it was a holiday we only saw 4 other hikers when we were on our our way back.  First mile is an easy trail on an old logging road to the start of the trail descending to the Sultan River.  its  a moderate grade down on the switchbacks down to the river.  Lots of mushrooms out today.

There are 2 toilets if you walk past the TH gate towards the dam.  They were in excellent condition and had TP.

We also walked across the dam and enjoyed the view of the river and mountains and then hiked on the road to the Northshore Rec area where there are picnic tables with a pretty great view of the river.  Toilet there was also very well maintained.

GPS loggged a little over 6 miles.
