Granite Creek Trail to Granite Lakes — Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Upper Granite Lake

I had a very peaceful hike today to Upper Granite Lake.  Only saw a total of five others on the trail.

The trail is in great condition.  There's a dozen small creeks to cross, but nothing terrible.  Hiking poles are handy for crossing.  I hiked in trail runners and they stayed dry.  The trail was snow free.  Total hiking time is 3 hours r/t.

I found a small digital camera and I know exactly how it was lost.  It was next to a pile of used toilet paper.  First off that's just not right.   Dig a hole and bury your #2's.   Better yet use the toilet at the trailhead before you leave.  I'm guessing the camara fell out of their dropped pants.

Such a bummer to run into the poo. Glad you posted the note here, to call it out as a reminder. Guessing the person won't be trying to retrieve their cam. Gross.
