This area is JUST clinging onto its last few brilliant autumn leaves. Even some of the late-fall fungi have already decomposed or seemingly freezed and thawed to mush. Awesome moss though.
Trail and trailhead (two port-a-potties) are in great condition, save a little mud. Lots of relatively friendly hikers on trail today, plus some fun detritivores.
Reminder to please stay on trail and refrain from climbing up to the falls or mines. Besides erosions and eyesores, it could be dangerous.
