I took a stroll on a short section of this trail - from the intersection with the Karen Fraser Woodland Trail down to the Rotary Trail Viewpoint over Smith Lake, and it was lovely. Wide, paved, flat, and winding between residential neighborhoods, but raised and flanked by enough trees to feel refreshing and separate from the streets. It also passed through several pretty sections of wetlands, with lots of small ponds along with a bridge between two parts of Chambers Lake. There were plenty of joggers, bikers, and walkers, but it being November the traffic wasn’t enough to be bothersome. I’d like to go back sometime to explore additional sections of the trail.
