Cherry Creek Falls — Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West
Cherry Creek Falls

This hike is 15 minutes from home.  So, it is easy to love a nice hike that is in your backyard.

The trailhead is in a quiet part of Duvall.  And, the trail goes straight into the woods.  It does not take long before you feel quite removed from cars, houses, and civilization.

There are no toilets, so plan ahead.

The trail is in good condition.  It is muddy in areas.  The trail is relatively easy to follow.  And, the trail description is well written.

The waterfall is running strong.  Both sides were gushing.  Hannan Creek was easy enough to ford.  But, prepare to stomp into 2" of water if you can pick the shallowest route.  A misstep could be even deeper.

I saw 2 people the entire day.  It was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  So, maybe that thinned the crowd a bit.
